Route 2 Bike/Ped Public Meeting ( 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm )

 

The Town of Richmond is sponsoring a second public work session to look at possible alternatives to improve bicycling and walking conditions in the Route 2 corridor, after the New England Central Railroad was reluctant to allow the preferred alternative that emerged from the last round of public work sessions.
 
When: April 1, 7:00 PM
 
Where: Richmond Town Hall

The Chittenden County Transportation Authority (CCTA) is holding Public Hearings to discuss possible routing and schedule changes to the Milton Commuter (#56) bus route.

•Thursday April 3rd at 6:15 PM at the Milton Town Offices, located at 43 Bombardier Road in Milton

•Tuesday April 8th at 6:30 PM at the Colchester Meeting house, located at 830 Main Street in Colchester

The public is welcome to attend to offer comments regarding these issues. Please call (802) 864-2282 with any questions or for further information.

Essex/EJ Walking/Biking Ideas ( 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm )

Walking/biking facility ideas wanted in Essex and Essex Junction

The Town of Essex and Village of Essex Junction are creating a master plan for walking and biking facilities throughout the two communities. Further public input is required to shape the vision for this network. Plans to date will be shared as background at this meeting, and the community is invited to offer comments, suggestions, and ideas.
