Chittenden County Traffic Alert — December 5, 2016

The Burlington Bike Path is closed to all traffic just north of the Skatepark to North Beach for rehabilitation. Detour is Depot Street to North Avenue to Institute Road during the closure.
Cleaning work on the Route 7 paving project from the Ferrisburgh/Charlotte Town Line to East Thompson’s Point Road will cause minimal traffic delays from Wildwood West Development to Ferry Road during the week. Construction is complete for the season, but motorists should be alert for tree clearing on Route 7 through December.
Moody Road Bridge at the intersection of Moody and Carse Roads will be CLOSED until further notice for road repair. Traffic will be detoured to Lower Carse Road.
Interstate 89 — Milton Lamoille River Bridges Project
Work on the Interstate 89 bridges over the Lamoille River in Milton will cause lane closures northbound from 7am until 2pm and southbound from 10am until 7pm. Motorists should plan for delays especially during the afternoon commute, reduce speed and use extreme caution while driving through the construction zone.
Road construction on Sandalwood Drive and Sebring Road will cause full and partial road closures between 7am and 6pm through mid-December.
Upper English Settlement Road is closed until further notice from 7am until 6pm for stump removal. Tupper Road and residences east of Tupper Road should enter and exit from Lower English Settlement Road.
There will be a right turn lane closure overnight at Taft’s Corners on US Route 2 beginning at midnight, Friday, December 2 through noonon Saturday, December 3. Traffic control will be present.If inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for the next Friday night of December 9-10.
Motorists should be alert for tree cutting and winter maintenance on the interstate and state roads. Please slow down in work zones
