Advocacy

On behalf of our members and the community, CATMA serves as an active and dedicated advocate for transportation and infrastructure needs, as we work with local, state and national leaders to influence policy and regional projects. CATMA is invested in promoting accessible and sustainable transportation options throughout Chittenden County, and continues to work with a broad network of partners to do so.

Most recently, CATMA has provided our expertise on TDM and transportation management to the following projects, committees and studies:

VTrans Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Guidance
“The purpose of this Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Guidance document is to provide guidance on how to estimate vehicle trip reductions from TDM measures implemented for new developments.  These estimates are intended to support adjustments to any impact or mitigation fee paid under Act 250 and/or Act 145 proportional to traffic generated by the site.”
