The Summit focused on transportation in and around Chittenden County, although our conversations throughout the day included statewide and national transportation perspectives and inspirations. A group of 100 businesses, policy makers, transportation providers and community members met to re-connect, re-engage and work “across the aisle” to re-imagine transportation demand management (TDM) strategies in Northwestern Vermont.

Keynote Speakers
Our morning keynote speaker, Yasamin Gordon, is Director of DEI Policy & Culture for Opportunity Consulting, a Washington D.C. Yasamine shared a powerful personal story connecting her lived experience to transportation equity and its impact.
In the afternoon, Stephen Falbel, President of Steadman Hill Consulting, Inc. presented findings from the Transit Financing Study he conducted for Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission. Slides from his presentation are available as a PDF download here.
