Vermont’s transportation sector accounts for almost half of our state’s total GHG emissions, more than any other sector in our economy and much higher than the national average. By eliminating work commutes and reducing the number of single-occupant vehicles on our roads, widespread adoption of telework in Vermont can help meet our state’s emissions reductions goals. 

As the regional Transportation Management Association serving Chittenden County, CATMA developed the Telework Toolkit for Employees to help Vermonters realize the benefits of telework and show them how to get the most out of it.
