National Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Week is September 15–19, a time to recognize how TDM improves livability and expands access to transportation options for everyone. This year, we’re celebrating with a special focus on South Burlington’s new Market Street bus service. Hosted by CATMA in partnership with the City of South Burlington, Green Mountain Transit (GMT), University of Vermont, Go! Vermont and ACT Patriot Chapter.
We invite you to join us for a coffee talk at Bliss Bee from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. on September 17, where we’ll discuss the TDM and its role in creating more connected, accessible, and vibrant communities, now and in the future. Afterwards, stay for the official ribbon cutting to mark the launch of the new Market Street transit service and the revitalized city center. Enjoy free coffee – sponsored by ACT Patriot Chapter!
As community leaders and elected officials, your participation helps raise awareness about the importance of expanding transportation options for all users when making land use and transportation planning decisions — and demonstrates your support for sustainable, equitable mobility in our region.
